Waste
Across our beautiful state we are creating landfills. We have litterbugs and people who dump large items, on public property and on the private property of rural Arkansans. We have to do more, and it starts with the three R's: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Let's eliminate warning tickets for litterers, and mandate community service, picking up trash.
Abortion
Abortion is healthcare. Arkansas has the fifth highest maternal mortality rate in the nation. With stricter abortion laws, the rate climbs. We absolutely must be trusting healthcare to our doctors and their patients.
Education
The state Republican party has politicized the education profession. As the product of public education in Arkansas, and the parent of a public school student, I'm invested in public education. We aren't funding our schools at the same rate we were when I was in school, and that is not acceptable. It is time to build preschools, not prisons.
Fair taxation
Sarah Huckabee Sanders has given yet another income tax cut present to her wealthy donors. The truth is, the income tax makes up 55% of our state's revenue. With each cut, either services are lost or other taxes are raised. What would do the most good for the most people? Lower property taxes, removing the sales tax on groceries, and reducing the used car sales tax.
Cannabis
Decriminalizing adult use cannabis must include pardoning nonviolent cannabis related charges as well as a way for people who choose to, to grow their own. We absolutely must be wary of attempted monopolies and give former cannabis convicts a foot into the industry and back into society with a good paying job.

Living Wage
Like many Arkansans, I have held different jobs throughout my life. Some of the hardest, were the least financially rewarding. With prices increases, especially in housing, the amount of a living wage has increased. We need to raise the minimum wage to a living wage and we can't leave out our tipped wage earners, who still make $2.63/hour!
For the people
I want to represent you. I want to make decisions that make Arkansas better for us all. I would do a weekly live web conference at the beginning of each week during the session that explains what is coming up for the week and gives constituents the opportunity to share their views on the subject.
