About

Cortney W McKee

Proudly, I was born, raised and educated in the state of Arkansas. I graduated from Phillips Community College with an Associates in law and social science. I received my B.A. in Political Science from the University of Arkansas Little Rock, as well as a graduate certificate in nonprofit management and a MPA (Masters in Public Administration).

Currently I live in Royal with my husband, daughter, rabbit, and cats.  I am running for state senate because I want the government to work for the people, and it hasn't been. Arkansans deserve better. I will work hard everyday to give them better.

Committment to Integrity

Cortney McKee has been in numerous positions of trust throughout her career. With her desire to work with and serve people, she has found a home in the hospitality industry. Cortney McKee has watched the erosion of public trust in our government and understands what it takes to mend it.  A committment to ethics and integrity is more than a campaign promise. While studying Public Administration, McKee studied the pitfalls that arise and result in a loss of integrity. Using this knowledge, she pledges to avoid any slippery slopes.

Vision

Each year, tens of millions of visitors come to the Natural State, spending billions of dollars here. We need to protect our Natural State for ourselves, our children, and our tourists. Sustainability for the environment makes sense for our economy.

Though as beautiful as our state is, we often rank near the bottom on important issues like poverty, education and healthcare. I'm ready to work with Republican colleagues to identify real solutions to real challenges for the people of Arkansas. All I need is you.
